Program description
L’AiR Arts, launches a call for applications for a fully funded one-month residency at the historic Atelier 11 Cité Falguière in Paris, France. Professional artists working with sculpture and installation are invited to apply.
To support the resident’s mobility, research and professional development, the
L’AiR Arts program offers the following resources:
- Travel expenses to and from Paris (up to €500)
- Accommodation and work space at Atelier 11
- Living expenses (€1000/month)
- Stipend towards research and/or production (€500)
- Programming and event support (open studio, exhibition, talk, etc.)
- Networking and research support (relevant visits and meetings)
- Communications support (website, e-news, social media)
- One-year Association membership and opportunity to participate in other residency projects and events

L’AiR Arts is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to support intercultural exchange through international arts residency programs. In collaboration with leading arts institutions and professionals, the residency programs support intercultural exchange, research, professional development and contemporary creation – while promoting diversity, inclusion and international understanding through artistic and cultural heritage.

Funding criteria
The Atelier 11 residency program is designed for artists and cultural
professionals who wish to develop their artistic research and/or project on
a topic/theme of their choice. Residents must work in the field of sculpture and installation.
To attend the residency, the candidate must be:
- Active in their professional life with focus on sculpture/installation practice (production is not expected during the residency)
- Proficient in English to be able to interact within the international community. Knowledge of French is not required
- Sufficiently independent to manage their residency
The L'AiR Arts program is open to artists and cultural professionals of all nationalities, disciplines, and at any stage of their professional careers.

The submission from the residency candidate must include the following
information:
- CV, bio/artist’s statement, and portfolio
- Letter of intent: reasons for applying, project description and objectives
The application is only possible in english or french.
