Program description
This competition is aimed at filmmakers, artists, content
creators and all AI enthusiasts and invites them to submit AI-based short films of a maximum length of five minutes. Participants are encouraged to express their experiences, perspectives and visions on the call title "AIsolation" in their work, challenging and aesthetically reflecting on the use of AI tools or the collaboration between humans and AI to explore the boundaries of visual language.
The aim is to encourage a critical examination of artificial intelligence and its social impact.
The winner of the "Best Artistic Innovation" category will receive a
international visitor trip (destination: Germany or East and Central Asia)
(valid until 2026). The winner of the category "Most Courageous Visionary of the Future" will receive VR glasses.
Up to 20 other remarkable works will be presented as part of the regional
project "ALLEINSEIN: Loneliness and Freedom" at Goethe-Instituts, at HAU
Hebbel am Ufer with the digital stage HAU4 and at other partner institutions such as cultural centers and film festivals in East and Central Asia and Germany - as well as on other digital platforms. The Goethe-Institut will inform the nominees in advance about the presentation on the platforms.
