In the first part of the workshop, on May 27, you will work with the workshop leader to develop an entrepreneurial business model based on your skills and needs, which you can then continue to work on after the workshop.

You will be taught tools and methods that you can use to define your own goals and identify existing or required resources. On this basis, you can develop a business that corresponds to your skills, wishes and values and that enables you to earn money with your creative work.

On the reflection day on June 11 or 12, the second part of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to discuss your experiences, results and the development of your business model with the other participants, the workshop leader Eva Kiltz and the consultants from Kreativ Kultur Berlin's creative industries consultancy, reflect on the goals you have set and define further steps for the future.

Eva Kiltz has been working independently as a publicist, concept developer and agile cultural manager in Berlin since 2021. Her work focuses on social and creative entrepreneurship, new forms of work, participation and cooperation, as well as agility in cultural management, cultural and economic policy. She holds diplomas in cultural and media management, music and education, as well as a certificate as an agile project manager. Since 2024 she has been working as a mentor and consultant for founders and companies in the cultural and creative industries. From 2022 to 2024 she was Chief Financial and Personnel Officer of the Berlin Music Commission eG. From 2016-2018 she worked as Transfer Manager Culture, Work and Society for the Federal Competence Center for Cultural and Creative Industries. From 2004-2014 she was Managing Director of the Association of Independent Music Companies.

The event will be held in German and on site as a face-to-face event on two days: May 27, 2025 and June 11 or 12, 2025. Please register for the workshop only. Registration for the reflection day takes place after participation in the first workshop day in coordination with the workshop leader and Kreativ Kultur Belin.

Accessibility: The Podewil is partially accessible. The Klosterstraße subway station, located directly in front of the Podewil, has an elevator. You can access our building via a ramp and an elevator. We are happy to assist you with door opening. An accessible restroom is available.

Please complete our application form with your pre-registration by May 11, 2025, including details of your company/project, your skills and a short letter of motivation. We will let you know whether we can offer you a place by May 20, 2025 after the pre-registration deadline.

Participation is free of charge. As the number of places is limited, you must register in advance using our registration form.

Information about cancellation:
We would like to give as many cultural and creative professionals as possible the chance to attend our events. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask you to cancel your registration in advance. Please send an email to beratungszentrum@kulturprojekte.berlin at least 48 hours before the start of the event. This will allow someone else to take part in the event.
