In our Basics series, we’ll provide you with the initial fundamentals of cultural funding. Are you new to the cultural funding landscape in Berlin? Then we recommend our seminar Orientation in funding opportunities. The workshop Turning an idea into a proposal will give you an overview of important steps on the way to submitting your application.
What funding opportunities for artistic projects are there by the district, state, federal republic (Germany) and EU? How can (private) foundations complement these? Based on a selection of funding programs, the range of funding opportunities will be outlined and specific funding logics and perspectives will be addressed. In addition, the typical components of an application and further consultation offers in Berlin will be introduced.
This online seminar is held once a month on Thursdays, alternating between German and English.

This allows you to gain insight into the funding criteria and application process, as well as practical tips for applying. Additionally, you can ask questions and receive direct feedback. Our regular partners include the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion, the Stiftung für kulturelle Weiterbildung und Kulturberatung, the Museumsverband Berlin, and kulturBdigital, which offer a variety of funding opportunities such as stipends and project funds.

Collaboration with our partner Creative Europe Desk (CED) CULTURE enables us to provide tailored information and support.
