Are you also faced with the constant challenge of presenting your project? Wondering how you can give a convincing, authentic and, most importantly, memorable project presentation? In this workshop we tackle this challenge and you will learn how to present your ideas and concepts in a brief and clear manner – whether it is an elevator pitch, video presentation or meeting with external parties. We will rehearse these situations using practical examples. Our expert Katharina von Wilcke, an experienced consultant for artistic and cultural affairs, shows you different techniques such as verbal thinking and utilizing body language. This workshop is for you if you want to review and work on your presentation skills, in particular your appearance, and become more confident with presenting.
Please bring along a current project that you can present in three minutes during the workshop.
Katharina von Wilcke is a curator, producer, lecturer and consultant for artistic and cultural affairs. In 1995 she founded DepArtment, the first production office for independent performing arts in Hamburg. She was project manager at numerous festivals and directed four editions of the Tanzkongress on behalf of the German Federal Cultural Foundation from 2006 to 2016. Since 2018, she has been a jury member of the funding program TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund. In recent years, she has been particularly concerned with the audience and is developing her own mediation formats.
The workshop „How to master your project presentation“ is part of the event series "Deep Dive". In this series, we want to give you the most practical insights possible to train you in dealing with applications and funding.
